Service Improvements

Upgrades to Better Serve You

In 2025, we updated our billing system and transitioned to paperless billing and notifications to give you faster access to statements and reduce waste. Late fees have been simplified, and card payment fees have been eliminated for easier account management.

We also completed a major enhancement of our core network, diversifying upstream carriers, improving redundant paths, increasing bandwidth capacity, and rolling out next-generation equipment for fiber and fixed wireless service.

Expanding Connectivity

Major Investment for Rural Broadband

AllBand has secured a $2.1 million state appropriation to complete the local match for a $16.9 million USDA ReConnect Round 4 broadband expansion project. This critical funding will bring fast, reliable fiber internet to nearly 3,575 households, 122 businesses, and 100 farms across Montmorency, Alcona, Oscoda, and Iosco counties.

This investment strengthens our mission to close the digital divide in rural Michigan, supports local economic growth, enables telehealth and education access, and creates immediate job opportunities for the region.

Annual Cooperative Meeting

2025 Membership Gathering

Earlier this year, we held our 2025 Annual Co-op Membership Meeting on November 8. It was a tremendous success, full of updates on our progress, a celebration of our accomplishments, great food, and community fellowship.

None of this would be possible without the support of our members, board of directors, and the leadership of our general manager. We extend a warm thank you to everyone who joined us.

Affordable Access

Lifeline Support for Eligible Households

Lifeline is a federal program that helps make phone and internet service more affordable for low-income households. Eligible consumers can receive a monthly discount of up to $9.25, while those living on Tribal lands may receive up to $34.25 per month, helping essential connectivity remain within reach.

AllBand proudly participates in the Lifeline program to support rural households. If you’re eligible, you can apply directly with Lifeline and then submit AllBand’s consent form to have your discount added to your services.

Reduce Unwanted Calls

National Do Not Call Resources

Tired of unwanted telemarketing calls?

The National Do Not Call list is a database maintained by the federal government. Under federal law, you may elect to use the national Do Not Call database to register your objection to receiving telephone solicitations.

If you elect to do so, you can register with the database by making a toll-free call to 888-382-1222. For TTY access, call 866-290- 4236. You may also register online at www.donotcall.gov. If you use the national Do Not Call list to register an objection to receiving telephone solicitations, you may later revoke that objection if you so choose.
