A large power outage reported by the local electric cooperative is affecting network equipment that serves several rural portions of Alpena County, including customers near Lachine and Bolton.

Backup systems are active, but prolonged power loss is causing reduced speeds and intermittent connectivity for some households. Once utility power is restored, services will immediately stabilize. We are in direct contact with the power provider and will update this page as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your continued patience while crews work to restore full service to the area.
