Sheryl McBride
1942-2024
Sheryl Ruth Agar McBride, aged 81, of Curran, peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Born on August 10, 1942, in Ann Arbor to the late Frank and Flossie Law Agar, she graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. Sheryl married Jerry McBride on June 20, 1970, who sadly preceded her in death on June 18, 2019. Over the course of approximately 31 years, she worked for several companies in Ann Arbor. In the spring of 2002, Sheryl and Jerry relocated to their cherished northern Michigan Chalet near Alpena, where she enjoyed a variety of crafts, sewing, reading, observing wildlife, and embracing the great outdoors.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law Patsy Helzerman and Elaine McBride, along with numerous nieces, nephews, “adopted” children, and cousins. Sheryl was preceded in death by her brother Robert Agar.
