This afternoon’s severe thunderstorms moving through Oscoda County caused damage to several utility poles, resulting in a fiber line break along Reber Road. Customers in Mio, Fairview, and surrounding rural zones may experience complete service loss or intermittent connectivity.

Our technicians are on-site now assessing the damage. Replacement materials are already en route, but due to debris and weather conditions, repairs may take several hours. We will provide an estimated restoration time as soon as the area is cleared for safe work.
